Lifecycled

No more microplastic pollution

Lifecycled makes polyester biodegradable so that it naturally decomposes in landfill within 5 years, compared to the 200 year stay of normal performance apparel.

In contrast to other polyester garments, which generate microfibers and toxic chemicals in landfill, Lifecycled reconnects with the environment by only emitting Carbon Dioxide and Biogas upon degradation as any other biomaterial.

Any polyester product can be made biodegradable by Lifecycled.

Plastic Microfibers

Each time we wash polyester clothing, both recycled and new materials break down into millions of microparticles of
plastic.

These get into rivers, lakes, and oceans and into the food chain.

Recycling plastics help reduce plastic waste, but the plastic problem remains, in another form as microfibers.

How Lifecycled technology works

Applied at the fabric polymer level, before the yarn is made

Remains on the fabric till end of life. Not a coating that reduces after washing

Biodegradability of Lifecycled

Lifecycled can also make apparel decompose in landfill and biodegrades only when it comes into contact with compost – never in your wardrobe!
